I consider it a privilege to join you, my client, on your journey through life's challenges and joys. I believe that in order for my clients to make the best use of counselling, they need to feel safe, respected, and supported within the therapeutic relationship. I have a warm, down-to-earth style that can help allow you to clarify your needs and identify your natural problem-solving skills.
I trained at the Integral Healing Centre of Toronto and at the Ontario Psychotherapy and Counselling Program (OPC). I have a BA from Brock University. My approach to therapy is collaborative, supportive and non-judgmental. My focus is client-centred and solution-focused using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy in my work.
During the initial session, I will work with you to identify the concerns that brought you to therapy, as well as manageable goals and plans for reaching them. My schedule is flexible and includes evenings.
